Book Talk

 A Book Talk activity was organized by the students of PM SHRI KV Dhenkanal to promote reading habits and develop confidence in expressing ideas. Students selected their favorite books and shared the storyline, characters, and key messages in an engaging manner. They highlighted the moral values, life lessons, and interesting aspects of the books. The activity encouraged students to explore literature beyond textbooks and improve their communication skills. It also created curiosity among peers to read new books. Teachers appreciated the confidence and creativity shown by the students. The activity truly inspired a culture of joyful and meaningful reading.

Magazine Makeover

The Magazine Makeover activity for Class VI students of PM SHRI KV Dhenkanal was an exciting and creative event. Students enthusiastically redesigned names of magazines by cutting, pasting, coloring, and arranging pictures in a fresh and attractive way. They used captions, drawings, and decorative borders to give each page a modern and appealing look. The activity promoted teamwork, imagination, and artistic expression while encouraging the values of recycling and reuse. It also improved their presentation skills, handwriting, and creativity. The final magazines looked vibrant and unique. Overall, the activity was a joyful and enriching learning experience.

Collage making Activity

 A collage making activity on the theme “Authors and Poets” was conducted for Class VI students of PM SHRI KV Dhenkanal. The young learners enthusiastically participated by collecting pictures, names, and famous works of eminent Indian and world authors and poets. They creatively arranged these on chart papers, adding captions and decorative borders to make their collages attractive. The activity not only enhanced their artistic skills but also deepened their knowledge of literature and great writers. It encouraged teamwork, creativity, and respect for literary contributions. Overall, the collage making activity was an enriching and joyful learning experience for the students.

Quiz on Independence Day

On the eve of Independence Day, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Dhenkanal organized an engaging quiz competition to instill patriotic spirit and enhance students’ knowledge about India’s freedom struggle, national leaders, and cultural heritage. Students from different classes participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their awareness and quick thinking. The quiz included multiple rounds covering history, current affairs, and achievements of the nation. The event encouraged teamwork, curiosity, and confidence among participants. A label-making activity was conducted at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Dhenkanal to promote creativity, organization, and hands-on learning among students. Participants enthusiastically designed and prepared informative and decorative labels for library. The activity aimed to enhance aesthetic sense while fostering teamwork and responsibility.  STUDENT LIBRARIANS/ TAECHERS ON THE OCCASION OF TEACHERS DAY

On the occasion of Teachers' Day, PM SHRI KV Dhenkanal organized a unique event where student librarians and teachers took over the classroom responsibilities. The student librarians/ Teachers stepped into the role of teachers, conducting engaging lessons and managing the class with enthusiasm and creativity. CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING SESSIONS

 PM SHRI KV Dhenkanal hosted a career guidance and counseling session conducted by Genxture, aimed at helping students explore various career paths and make informed decisions about their futures. The session covered topics such as emerging career trends, skill development, and the importance of aligning personal interests with professional goals. Expert counselors from Genxture provided personalized advice, answered student queries, and offered insights into higher education options and vocational opportunities. The interactive session empowered students to identify their strengths, set clear career goals, and take proactive steps toward achieving them, fostering confidence and informed decision-making.

 MULTI-CULTURAL PROGRAM FOR THE STUDENTS OF R.I.E. BHUBANESWAR

PM SHRI KV Dhenkanal offered a dynamic learning atmosphere for the students of the Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, through a range of interactive and experiential learning opportunities.
